I had the honor of meeting the very talented Stefanie Kitchner at recent Wish Upon A Wedding Event held back in February. Stefanie is the owner and creator of Ciao Bella Cakes. Her understanding of using high quality ingredients, exceptional service and personal preferences of her clients allow her to satisfy any style of event!

How stinkin’ cute is the Angry Birds Cake!!! I just had to stick that in there as it is one of the games the hub and I are addicted to as of the moment.

{Wedding Wednesday} Grace & Matthew

I had the absolute pleasure of working with the newly married Grace and Matthew on their entire Korean inspired wedding stationery ensemble. Back in late 2010 Grace had let me know she wanted a custom stationery ensemble that would coordinate with a hand crafted Korean paper she and Matthew had picked out.

I fell in love with her color palette and Korean paper immediately. I knew it would be a breathtaking suite in only a matter of minutes into the design phase!

They chose a bi-fold style panel that housed their invitation, reception card, and map card. Each invitation was adorned with the Korean paper and a personalized tag.

The rest of their day of stationery was equally as beautiful! Paired with antique gold, cranberry, 24 karat, and champagne stocks all printed with their custom motif to tie everything together!

I really enjoy working with each individual couple as each invitation I create is different and feels like a breath of fresh air.

Congratulations Grace and Matthew! I wish you both a lifetime of health and happiness!

Well, I was going to upload the lovely tutorial on the Love Clover Tri-Shutter Card from yesterdays Make a Card Monday series, however my video camera [7 year old Everio] decided to NOT cooperate…. at all.

The image quality was terrible, the audio made me sound like an old man, and I was just so terribly unhappy with it. So no video tutorial today, however I will be posting a video of this card later this week…[I am off to purchase another video camera tonight]

So for today’s post, lets do a Tuesday Shoesday Instead. =)

{Make a Card Monday} Love Clover Tri-Shutter Card

As St. Patrick’s Day is quickly approaching, all of the hobby stores shelves are stock full of cute goodies to craft with. This weekend when I was out and about with little Miss Olivia, we stopped into Michael’s for some craft supplies. While browsing I stumbled upon these yummy glitter stocks by Recollections Signature in Mint and Evergreen.

CUTENESS!!!

I knew I had to include these papers in a card that would show off each individual sheets beautiful characteristics…. which the tri shutter card does exactly that!
